In this interactive workshop, we journey deep into the literary fairy tale of The Little Mermaid to explore the story using tools from the Story Arte creative toolbox. Gestalt therapy, art therapy and/or Psychodrama will be accompanying us on the voyage. We will be working with an abridged oral version of Hans Christian Anderson´s famous story. The focus is not on the version by Walt Disney. We will be working with the symbolic language of fairy tales, and we will explore the different characters in depth, especially the Sea witch. This workshop is experiential, and participants will be invited to explore the story in depth and engage actively in the activities. Join me as we embark on this unforgettable journey through unknown territories, following a map passed on to me my Irene Henche, founder of the School of Symbolic Psychodrama and author of the book "El Regalo del Lobo". In this course we are going to explore the theme of death through stories, art therapy and rituals. It is for anyone who feels the call to be able to talk about death in a natural way. It would be of special interest to storytellers, counselors, therapists and other people in the caring profession, in education or in any other related walk of life. Throughout the course I will be sharing pearls of wisdom from my 18 years of telling stories professionally and working with art therapy and psychodrama in a variety of situations. The course is planned to take place over a 7-week period. Once a week there will be a virtual 'live' session via Zoom which will be recorded and uploaded onto the platform and it will be available for viewing for one month.
